The authors and floral designers will chat with William Norwich about their new book, Flower Color Theory, this Thursday
Do you have plans for Thursday? Thought you might not. Like many of us, Darroch and Michael Putnam, America’s leading contemporary floral designers, have had to find new ways to organise their social diary.
Sure, the pandemic has presented them with challenges, but they’ve still managed to mark their tenth wedding anniversary, see their work appear in Beyoncé’s film, Black is King, and establish an outpost in LA. This week, they’re preparing to launch their latest Phaidon book, Flower Color Theory, with an Instagram Live book party launch.
“Flower Color Theory officially launches next week and we’re hosting a (digital) soirée on Thursday, February 11th to celebrate,” they explain, before going on to encourage their followers to “pop a bottle of bubbly & come ready to chit-chat with us!”
Michael and Darroch will be joined by Phaidon’s commissioning editor, William Norwich, who has overseen the new Putnams’ book, as well as publications by Grace Coddington, Marc Jacobs, and Fabien Baron.
