Ferran Adria, Jason Atherton and Andres Lara (like Jason, an ex-elBulli stager)

Take a look at this new Ferran Adrià FT dinner video

Want a little glimpse at our super select Pollen Street Social dinner for How To Spend It readers? Of course you do

Sadly there's no chance of getting a ticket for our next two FT How To Spend it Dinners with Ferran Adrià as they sold out within just 24 hours of going on sale. So we hope you can console yourself a little with this short video made by co-sponsors of the event Vertu.

It was shot at the Pollen Street Social event earlier this month, where 100 lucky readers attended a 5-course dinner created especially for the occasion by former elBulli stager Jason Atherton. The £800 ticket price included a copy of the limited edition seven volume set elBulli 2005-2011 and all the guests received a goody bag with a signed book plate in an elBulli2005-2011 presentation box, as well as a copy of Phaidon’s The Man Who Changed the Way We Eat by Colman Andrews and an original elBulli menu card signed by Ferran and Jason as a memento of the evening.

Gillian de Bono, How to Spend it’s Editor, spoke of the extraordinary achievement of the 7 volume archive which was on display at the dinner. Since the Pollen street event Ferran has hosted another sold out dinner in Hong Kong. The next two events take pace in Geneva in September and New York in October.

Meanwhile, the seven volume set has attracted grand praise from pretty much everyone in the high end food world.

"Captured in these volumes are arguably the most prolific years in the history of elBulli," said David Chang of Momofuku. Meanwhile, according to Daniel Boulud, chef owner of the Dinex Group, "These volumes are not about who you are or what you cook - this is about understanding a new theory of cooking and cuisine." He added that the collection was "a must for any passionate cook."

And Dan Barber, co-owner and head chef of Blue Hill at Stone Barns said: "As the author and curator of this astounding collection, Ferran has ensured that his legacy will not only endure, but that it will continue to instruct."  Want to see what's got them excited? You'll find elBulli 2005-2011 here. But hurry - in common with those dinner tickets it's a limited edition.
